As a tutor, I aim to give students the confidence and competence to meet their potential on the GMAT.
(Cambridge) accepted the score! Thank you for all the help mate. I really appreciate it.

How I got started on this path
After graduating in Physics and Philosophy in 2004, I was invited to take a job tutoring GMAT in Paris.
Since 2005, I have worked as a GMAT Tutor and test prep advisor around the globe, teaching one-to-one and group courses in London, Paris, and Warsaw, and ultimately expanding my reach to multiple continents online.
I’ve worked with clients from Hong Kong to Taipei to Perth to Sydney to Manila to New York to Chicago to Frankfurt to Riga to Moscow to help boost careers at schools ranging from INSEAD to MIT Sloan to Wharton to Cambridge Judge to IE, IMD, IESE, and more.
In addition to teaching, I have worked as a question writer and explanation writer for GMAT materials, and have developed a niche as a consultant editor–improving question explanations for better understanding by the client–that’s you!
In short, I know how GMAT questions function at the deepest level, and I aim to pass this knowledge to you.
My education includes Cambridge University, Dartmouth College, Reed College, and Université Paris-IV (Sorbonne).

Working with Rowan was brilliant. I tried another tutor but didn’t see much improvement. Rowan helped me get from a 640 to a 730 in a matter of weeks.

Rowan was an excellent choice for me, a GMAT candidate that needed to improve my score from 600 to 680+. I exceeded my target score after only 10 hours (5 Sessions) of working with Rowan.
Rowan knows the GMAT exam inside out and showed me how to apply my existing knowledge to GMAT problems and identified my opportunities for improvement. This was especially valuable to me as he enabled me to focus my efforts upon improving my score whilst maintaining morale.
Growing up, I was never particularly confident with math. Still, I put in the effort and got a Physics degree. This taught me a couple of key points: math skills can be improved–sometimes rapidly–and there is almost certainly a better way to do it than what you were shown in school.
In my copious spare time, I write and edit screenplays and provide voiceovers for scientific and technical videos. Here and there I even play music and can probably fix your car.
